Evaryl Sihelni, better known simply as 'Ryl', was born in the far East to a clan of elves who split off from their kin so long ago that physiology has changed very slightly. [Okay, so the player was looking for an excuse to give somebody anime-elf ears. Sosumi.] Ryl was orphaned during his "teens" and fostered with several different families until he reached adulthood.
Ryl and his companions Red and Tully are recent - and part-time - additions to Laranica; they winter over in the city, while Ryl gives performances and Red takes on guard duties in exchange for their room and board.
Slender and graceful, in combat situations Ryl compensates in speed for what he lacks in strength; he is best at hit-and-run tactics. He's not terribly high-level in his magic, but has a few favorite -- and very useful -- spells (as well as a handful of fun but relatively useless ones).
